Today will be a shorter than usual day (owing to the fact this tournament has a day more than the usual schedule for PokerStars’ regional tours) with only six levels being played. I’ll be switching to a traditional reporting style which should be in the latter half of the day (the bubble usually tends to burst in levels 14 or 15 – usually).

Today also see the €25k High Roller final table and Day 1c of the €300 IPT Malta Cup as well as five other events. A €500 NL Deepstack Turbo starts at noon and at 3pm, there is a €200 PLO High/Low Deepstack Turbo. Flipout fun starts at 6.15pm with three €100 tourneys kicking off every half an hour. There is also the first Midnight Hyperturbos with a €500 NL event. Plus, the official draw for this weekend’s inaugural Global Poker Masters event is at the Hilton Malta at 7pm.

IPT Malta update:
– Level 11 (600/1,200/200) is about to begin
– 513 players out of an initial 1,285 remain
– A total of 191 places will be paid a minimum of €1,740 with the winner receiving €221,200
– Six levels are being played today with no dinner break

Don’t forget to get the EPT app for Android or IOS.
