It was another big field for this week’s Super Tuesday, with 567 coming out to build a $567,000 prize pool, again easily besting the $1,050 no-limit hold’em tourney’s $400K guarantee. And after close to 14 hours of poker just one player had all the chips, with ImADicktedU of the Netherlands having survived a lengthy final table and a nearly 90-minute heads-up duel to take the title and a $107,730 first prize.

After going at it for almost five-and-a-half hours that big starting group was down to just 64 players and playing hand-for-hand across eight tables waiting for the money bubble burst. Finally ReadOnYou ran A♦ Q♣ into NotYetBust’s Aâ™  A♣ to go out one spot shy of the cash, and with that hand NotYetBust moved into the chip lead with 63 left.

It would more than two hours more for the field to be whittled down to 18 players, during which stretch brights88 knocked out Team PokerStars Pro Online member Mickey “mement_mori” Petersen in 24th for a $3,402 cash. Meanwhile NotYetBust continued to enjoy the chip lead, having built a stack up over 580,000 — at the time well over twice that of the nearest competitor.

Mantas “bagoch” BagoÄŤius (18th), FOO-92 (17th), and Matt “mjw006” Wakeman (16th) were the next players out, each earning $4,536. Younas “cocoojones” Rønhoff (15th), Carter “cswidler” Swidler (14th), and PieTrO_925 (13th) followed them to the rail, picking up $5,670 cashes for their efforts. Then JoaquĂn “elmelogno4″ Melogno (12th), ram_siva1 (11th), and Ariel “ArielBahia” Celestino (10th) were successively knocked out, with those three each getting $6,804 for not quite making the final table.

With nine left, ImADickted2U had grabbed the lead.

Seat 1: UhhWeee (Malta) — 112,678

Seat 6: Thomas “ImADickted2U” Brader (Netherlands) — 565,784

Seat 9: Joker1002 (Poland) — 219,477

It only took two more hands for another to fall after a min-raise from i need sheet from the cutoff, an all-in button push from Luke “LFmagic” Fields, then a reraise-shove from KorW1n22 in the small blind to isolate. KorW1n22’s Q♣ Q♦ had Fields’s 7♥ 7♣ dominated, and five cards later they were down to eight.

They continued on through the 10-hour mark as former leader NotYetBust slipped in the counts to less than 120,000 or about 10 big blinds. Soon NotYetBust was all in with 5â™  5♣ but unfortunately ran into KorW1n22’s A♦ A♣ , and after failing to find improvement from the community cards NotYetBust was eliminated in eighth.

Pocket aces would claim the next victim as well in a hand that began with an early-position min-raise to 28,000 by brights88, a button three-bet to 62,500 by Joker1002, and a call from brights88.

The flop came 3♠ K♠ 3♦ , and brights88 check-called a bet of 68,000 by Joker1002, then both checked the 4♠ turn. The 7♦ then brought an all-in shove by brights88 for just over 250,000 and a call from Joker1002. brights88 had 10♦ 10♠ but Joker1002 A♣ A♠ , and brights88 was out seventh.

Just two hands later Saul “iCeVeNoM” Khalili open-pushed from under the gun for just over 81,000 (a little less than 6 big blinds), and i need sheet reraise-shoved from the button. It was A♦ 4♥ for Khalili and A♣ Q♣ for i need sheet, and after a 9♥ Qâ™  Aâ™  5♦ 6♦ runout, i need sheet had two pair and the one-time WCOOP winner Khalili was knocked out in sixth.

Not long after that hand UhhWeee open-pushed for not quite 96,000 (about six big blinds) from early position, i need sheet reraise-shoved from a seat over, and everyone folded. UhhWeee had A♥ 3♦ but once again a short stack had run into pocket rockets as i need sheet had A♣ A♦ , and soon UhhWeee was gone in fifth.

The final four continued on, then in the last hand before the 11-hour break the blinds were 10,000/20,000 when KorW1n22 open-pushed for almost 294,000 from the cutoff, then ImADickted2U called from the button. Joker1002 responded with a reraise-shove for about 576,000 from the small blind and ImADickted2U called again.

Joker1002: A♦ A♣
ImADickted2U: A♥ J♠
KorW1n22: Q♥ J♥

The board ran out ten-high — 5♦ 10â™  3♦ 5♣ 9â™  — meaning Joker1002’s aces had held and KorW1n22 was felted in fourth.

Of the six final-table knockouts, four had come versus pocket aces. That hand put Joker1002 in front with about 1.48 million, with ImADickted2U next with about 1.01 million and i need sheet third with just over 348,000.

About 20 minutes later i need sheet had slipped down under 65,000, and would open-raise that stack all in from the button with Jâ™  7â™  , getting a call from Joker1002 in the big blind with 4â™  2♣ . A K♥ 4♣ Qâ™  flop hit Joker1002’s hand, and after the K♦ turn and 9♣ river they were down to two.

Heads-up play began with Joker1002 enjoying the advantage with about 2.06 million to ImADickted2U’s almost 770,000. Twenty minutes into the duel ImADickted2U had chipped up to pull even with Joker1002, then 20 minutes after that they’d hit the tourney’s 12-hour mark with ImADickted2U in front with about 1.77 million to Joker1002’s 1.06 million.

Joker1002 would retake the advantage as the 13th hour got underway, but then ImADickted2U would bolt back in front. Then came a hand that saw Joker1002 double-up with K♦ Kâ™  through ImADicktedU’s A♥ 10♥ to retake the lead. But ImADicktedU would battle back to move in front once more, building back up to about a 2-to-1 chip advantage with about 1.88 million to Joker1002’s not quite 947,000.

Then, nearly an hour-and-a-half after their heads-up duel began, the final hand at last took place.

With the blinds up to 30,000/60,000, Joker1002 opened with a min-raise to 120,000 from the button, then ImADicktedU pushed all in and Joker1002 called with the nearly 820,000 left behind. ImADicktedU had 7♣ 7♦ while Joker1002 needed to connect with the board with A♥ J♣ .

The board came 8♦ 6♣ 3♥ , then Q♥ , then 6â™  , and it was all over — ImADicktedU had won.

Congratulations to ImADicktedU for topping another big Super Tuesday field, a tough final table, and an especially gritty heads-up opponent in Joker1002 to win the tourney and a six-figure first prize.
