In many ways, as MicroMillions 9 approaches the final weekend, it is situation normal on the honours list. With a further nine tournaments completed in the past 24 hours, no fewer than three winners hailed from Russia, continuing to dominate the online game by sheer weight of numbers.

You might think that three doesn’t seem like that many, but already Russian players have amassed nine titles, with 80 final table appearances. That’s nearly double the next best country Brazil, with 46.

Combined Russian players have finished in the money 18,222 times, amounting to prize money in excess of $500,000. And what’s more it is a Russian player Inyzh who leads the Players of the Series competition, with 385 points. It’s all sounding eerily reminiscent of WCOOP back in September.

But there is still all to play for before it all comes to an end this weekend, with the $22 MicroMillions Main Event (Event #98), the equivalent of a Super High Roller buy-in to those in the micro world (check out the satellites running now for a cheaper way to a seat). It’ll bring to an end another hugely popular series, crowning 100 winners, each of whom turned cents into dollars and stepped away from the tables with a story that will last a lifetime.

It’s not just MicroMillions on the card this weekend. The Sunday Majors play on in their usual way, turning Sunday into anything but a day of rest. They’ll also serve as a useful warm up to what will be something of a highlight next week, when the Billionth Tournament Carnival gets under way. You can find all the details of that, and the various promotions taking place, by reading our post on it here.

For everything else you might need to know there’s the MicroMillions webpage. There you’ll find details of all the remaining tournaments, as well as the current leader board standings and the statistics to go with it. If you’re names not on it yet there still plenty of time to ensure that it is.

For now here’s a list of the latest winners.
